Sarika Gulhar is Opthea’s Executive Director of Human Resources since January 2023. With over 30 years of HR management experience, Sarika is a seasoned HR executive known for enhancing corporate culture and building high-performance teams in companies across diverse industries. Her expertise spans the entire HR spectrum, encompassing strategy, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, career development, and compliance. With a track record of navigating organizations through transformation, Sarika has served as a trusted advisor to CEOs, Executive Teams, Boards of Directors, and Compensation Committees, driving organizational excellence through strategic people management.
Prior to joining Opthea, Sarika has held key HR leadership roles, including Global Head of Human Resources at Crux Informatics, a leading FinTech company and Optovue, a leading Ophthalmic Device company. She has played pivotal roles in shaping vision, mission and core values of these companies driving them through growth, expansion, diversification, and mergers & acquisitions.
Sarika holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Management Studies and an MBA with specialization in Human Resources Management from the University of Delhi, India.
